Silky Madison (aka. Heather Silver) is a rounded vocalist who has played in bands and written songs the majority of her life. Originally learning to sing in church, she was exposed to music that ranged from gospel, country-swing, and classical. Piano became a large part of her life from age nine on,and she continues to use the instrument for many writing endeavors.
At a young age rock and roll, as well as pop music became something to explore and many other avenues presented themselves through bands and projects in Arizona, Colorado, Alaska, Seattle, and Oregon. While being in Oregon for the last 10 years, musicians being plentiful, she has had the opportunity to enjoy a mutitude of spontaneous opportunities with local musicins, as well as being able to record her first full album with Nathan Lester at the "Velvet Lounge", in Cottage Grove, Oregon. She is waiting to release her first full album in winter of 2010.
Since August of 2009 she has been singing, writing with , and playing keyboards for "Sounder." |
